I don’t know what’s worse, but this billboard is not helping McCain right now.

Instant Weird Al

…and they said the Internets would kill music.

Weird Al Yankovic, an idol of mine since 1984’s “Dare To Be Stupid” album, is releasing a new single on iTunes tomorrow…a parody of a song that is currently #1 on the charts.

According to his Myspace blog, this is a first for Al, as he typically must wait a couple years to release a parody on an album that takes many months to record, mix, master and release. Thanks to modern technology and his recent “White & Nerdy” video being a HUGE Internet smash, he got this whole project done (from permission to release) whittled down to an insane two weeks.

Musicians claiming to be losing money because of the Internet are now considered lazy in my book.

Finally, someone who makes sense of the bailout. The key points of this article are:

1. Don’t allow the bailout to happen.
2. Let the bad corporations file for bankruptcy.
3. Let the good corporations buy the remains of the bankrupt bad guys (one’s loss is another’s profit).
4. The government needs to stop forcing banks to relax mortgage loan standards (i.e. if you can’t afford a home, you don’t qualify for a loan anymore).
5. The U.S. taxpayer shouldn’t have to pay for the government’s mistake.

I hope my two favorite closeted Libertarians (pictured below) have a nice fresh script ready to address this matter when their new season of South Park begins next week.

It’s a tabloid, but they did get Edwards

The National Enquirer is reporting they found Sarah Palin’s alleged mister. It’d be rad if it’s true, and it may be, but admitting to this before Nov. 4 would destroy the Republicans’ GOP’s chances of keeping the White House.

Besides, why start admitting to things now when lying seems to be working so well for them?

PS–this is not a pro-Obama post. It’s an anti-Palin post. There IS a difference.

Are cults recruiting via infomercials?

The Snuggie.

I find informercials amusing, but this one seems to have some kind of subliminal agenda behind it.
